I am also trying to retro-fit this mirror to my coupe, and was wondering where you picked up an ign+ and earth feed from, I was planning to splice int the wiring for the check control panel, once I find out which colour is ign+and which is earth?
Or is this a bad idea?

Could you supply a chip for th early 073 type ECU?Speedtouch wrote:I can supply a chip with a program similar to Miller's, that works with the same MAF they use (which I gather is a 1L3F-12B579-AB MAF, which is an OEM 2001-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra item).
However, you would need to source your own MAF.

Re: M20 Wiki page
Coolant flow is regulated by the thermostat, which is controlled by the ECU based on readings from the temperature sensor. When the temperature is correct, the ECU opens the thermostat to allow coolant to flow to the radiator. This I believe is incorrect, The two temperature sensors are for the ECU...

Put the front end back to standard with a new chrome bumper, get some new side trims, and leave the back as it is.

New Exhaust Time...
Right its time for the bodged exhaust on my early 325i to be replaced. However, I don't know what to buy, I recently replaced the exhaust manifold (due to a crack in the old one) with a "larger" log style 4 bolt diamond shape one. This meant the downpipe flange had to be butchered to get it to fit a...

Strange revving Problem
Hi all, my M20B25 has a strange revving problem, it drives fine up until 3.5-4k rpm then it just coughs and splutters and won't rev any more. Sometimes it idles at 1k other times it idles nicely around 650-700rpm. I thought it was fuel pressure related due to a noisy fuel pump, but I replaced that y...

I didn't realise they had two pumps; I thought that was a diesel thing.
