Weber carb help

I've got an M10 engined E21 - one of the last on an A reg, fitted with a Weber carb conversion - can anyone give me an idea where the mixture screw is on it as I've lost the instructions is came with.
Should be same as an E30 one I think, hence why asking here...

Tow Bar

Am I right in thinking a Saloon tow bar will fit a Touring?

Cheers!

Cheers - think I'll need to get looking for a box sooner rather than later though as when in town today, I got a nasty bearing squeel for a bit - then it went and hasn't come back yet.............

Cheers for the replies.

If it's the input shaft bearings, will it go for a while like this, or is it likely to give up and leave me stranded?

I guess when it goes, it's easier to just get a 2nd hand gearbox for it too?

Annoying noise/rattle

My 318i Touring has just started making an odd noise - when stationary, depress the clutch and it disappears, but with clutch up it has a rattle coming from the gearbox area - first guess was the thrust bearing, but as you slow down using engine braking, I'm getting a similar rattle so I'm presuming...

Splines seem fine, think it's pretty certain to be the rack - checked under the bonnet again and however much I move the steering wheel, the column under the bonnet moves the same - only not as much at the road wheel. Now to decide whether I put a manual rack on it or not....... Which part of the co...

I thought the steering was a bit vague, tramlining bad, etc so 'wiggled' the steering while watching the wheels and with no movement at the road wheel, I had about 1/2" of play at the steering wheel. With the bonnet up, I couldn't see any play in the rubber disc on the column - seems to be moving as...

Steering rack - 1990 318i touring

My power steering rack seems to be a bit worn - about 1/2" of play at the wheel.

Question is, if I was to change it to a manual rack what parts would I need apart from the rack? Or does it just a straight forward fit?

Cheers

Next car for me will probably be something like an E30 or E36 325i, I've had most of the silly cars I've grown up wanting - Lotus Excel, Toyota Celica, MR2, Audi Quattro, etc, etc.

Still really fancy a mint E24 635CSi or M6 if I win the lottery though.

Headlamp adjustment

I've got the later style headlamps in my touring which have the height adjustment fitted but it seems as if the controller doesn't work.
Can anyone explain how the system works and any common faults with it? Tried a different controller, but made no difference.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on these, need to get something organised for my Touring asap.

Front wishbone bush

I know this subject has been probably covered many times, but need some advise on which bushes to fit to the rear of my lower arm on the front suspension on my 318i Touring. I fitted ECP standard bushes last year but they seem to be too flexible I think - might be casuing the tramlining/wandering I ...
