I just didn't want to go down that route in the end and not to take any credit away from the chap, he's done a brilliant job, so hats off to him.

Re: My Poor rusty Alpina
I got a text off Barry telling me about what has been done with my old Alpina. The car looks totally stunning and I am really pleased you stuck to your promise that you would give it the treatment and restoration it really deserved. I would have never been able to achieve this type of restoration in...

Re: Best looking supercar?
I'm another one for the F40 , but I love it in the LM form.
Current super car would be the Zonda 722 , which is the R on the road. On YouTube Evo magazine did a nice report on it.

Re: Best looking real world car you can buy at the moment?
I think I might try and find an Alpina 1 series coupe over the next few years as that would be my idea of perfection of a modern motor. No Alpina E8x 1 series available. Do you know if they are planning to do anything on the 1 series coupe at all buddy? I think they could really do an awesome job a...

Re: Best looking real world car you can buy at the moment?
I love the look they did with the 1M , but I like the smallish 2 door saloons style. I think I might try and find an Alpina 1 series coupe over the next few years as that would be my idea of perfection of a modern motor. I would love to see what Brabus would do to the SLS as they are one of the most...

When I refer to JDM I am aware of the meaning , I was meaning how they do sticker-bombing or heavily sticker up their own rides over there more. Yeah my P1 is more British than most as with mine being Prodrive's press car it did get stripped and built a few times during it's life with them. The 22B ...

STI rear lights are a really nice touch. They are about £250 a pair , so something for the future.
Next thing I want to do is retro fit the STI version 8 steering wheel to the car.

Godspeed brakes asked me what I did with the P1 and they said the Alcon blue stuff pads would be fine for what I do with the car , ironically none of which is real track use. Well , it's finally been a year since I first got my P1. I've had heart ache and I have had joy , meet different people and been to different shows and meets. After getting the new engine done , I was fairly happy with the car , but as I was not using it much I never really put too much thought into...

E86 , Initial D's car!
The RB320 is pretty rapid but the 22B and even the P1 blow them away. The one thing I would say about my P1 is , it is one of the easiest cars to drive. Pottering around town or out on country roads , it gives a great amount of confidence to the driver.

The old school skylines do have a certain charm about them. This is the 22B, this particular one has been kept in storage for 10 years and was take out for the first time yesterday. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x169/0Xen0/b2ca62ca.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x169/0Xen0/ea07f8dc.jpg ...

Obviously I am biast with Scooby's , but with the "classic" 4 doors costing as little as £1500 , you find plenty in the hands of dodgy modders. I like to think that people who think all Scooby's are council , at least aprecieat the rare ones like my P1 and the 22B are styled and designed for a purpo...

The Jap car culture is really different to the one I have experienced with my E30 and yes there is a lot of council action there. Re: My new Subaru
Oh it's a grey import. The JDM cars tend to have a greater spec and are more tuneable. But for the cost of a new one you could have gotten a 22B , which like the M3 is only going up in value now. You will need to check if the restricter has been removed because you'll only be able to get to 120mph I...
