Well I like to have a look in now and then - i miss the E30 world so much - it will have to be a sport or a convertible next I think I miss them too much!!

Ah glad you got back in one piece! I'd been as far as Birmingham in it so you really stretched it's legs. Glad it's all ok, its an amazing car and I miss it like mad but it's gone to a good home!

My first Drive in an E30 was when I went to look at my iS. We arrived at the guys house to find he wasnt home from work yet. So made small chit chat with his dad and then had a look at the car. Anyway the guy came home and took myself and my dad out in it. We went on some quite twisty country roads ...

It is incredible really to think how a few simple changes can totally alter a cars appearance. From what was a bog standard fairly plain looking 316i is now looks quite sporty and something a bit different. Great colour as well.

The two things I can think of off the top of my head would be

1) - Having a "lights on" buzzer of some sort. That really is silly.

2) - Have a better system than that hydraulic light level adjustment system.

Isnt it a great feeling when you get your first E30! :D I was nervous driving it at first tho, going from a 1.4 Fwd to a 1.8 Rwd :roll: Its all good now tho :cool: Adam Yeah I was the same, nervous as hell. Car has been sat still for a week as I was away -

Drivers window wont work when the door is closed but does if it is open...

Some left with M badges, some without... my dads early sport and grey Mtech II sport didn't have them on. Also some dealerships will not sell you an M Badge if your car isnt ///M orientated - true fact. Not that anyone would buy them from the stealer as they are so readily available elsewhere now...

My dads last sport 325i Auto with the sports box was great fun, I never got to drive it as I was only a nipper but pulled hard, great noise and was alot of fun using it in the manual mode as well....

I have 205/55/15 on Avon ZV3's and I found them to be quite good as well.

Well I think that's a good place to start. At least then you can either say that was the fix or rule it out completely..

I also have Cors Spokes and the car really shudders at around the 98mph mark. Obviously as I don't travel at this speed all the time it's not huge but I think I just need the wheels balancing and putting into the right alignment... Well I hope that's all it is anyway...
