Re:
Thank you guys!
No, this is the harness for the E30 M3. I pulled out the entire harness when i did the prep-work in the floor, so this is just a replacement for the old harness
The engine harness is the only from E36 M3.

Re: My E30 M3 S50B30 Euro
Okay guys, time for a small update... I have welded the rust in the floor, painted it and installed some sound deadening material. I have also painted up the pedals and mounted brand new ///M Pedals, and mounted the gear shifter. So now it's almost done... lol ;) Got my new wiring harness today, so ...

Re: My E30 M3 S50B30 Euro
Thank you :) Here's some pics I took today. I bolted the engine up and the transmission-mounts and bushings. Did some other minor things, but nothing huge today. I will have to take a look at the exhaust manifolds, and the brake system. My brake booster is a hydraulic unit from a BMW E32 and some ot...

Re: My E30 M3 S50B30 Euro
Okay fellas, a small update! The engine is in!!! I have vacation right now, but I was at work to do some stuff on my M3. My girlfriend runs her own company as a gardener and is hired by the company I work for, so she was also there to do some gardener-stuff. But after an hour we found out that after...

Re: S50 - Spacer on left engine mount?
Yeah, at the page I was refering to earlier that sells the spacer and engine mounts, it says to be mounted on the left side. But I wasn't sure if that was the cars left side, or the left side when you are facing the engine bay (Cars right side). Cause the most sensible thing would be, like you said,...

Re: S50 - Spacer on left engine mount?
Actually, I don't know what car they came from. I will check the part number today.
But what kind of engine mounts should I use, that is not as flexible, and do not require spacer on one of the sides?

S50 - Spacer on left engine mount?
Hi! It's time to drop in my S50B30, and somewhere for a while ago, I read something about a spacer on the left engine mount / mounting arm? How thick should this spacer be? And why do I need it (To clear off what)? And it's only on the left side? (The cars left side / Inlet side?) Thank you very muc...

Thank you all :) I'm looking forward to get the car done. The goal is to get it done by next summer. Forgot to mention it, but the car is on FK Coilovers with yellow Koni dampers and Poly bushes. I should keep that for now, but I'm thinking of upgrading the brakes with a K-Sport 356mm 8-pot kit in f...

Gazm3: 8,5 x 17" in the front and 10x17" in the rear.
215/45 in the front and 245/40 in the rear. Gotta love the stretch, but I'm going for a bit wider now when I buy new tyres. 225 or 235 in the front and 265 or 285 in the rear.

Re: So, what do E30 owners do when they aren't Zoning?
I don't know if you guys in the UK (and other places) will follow the same standard. I see that germany is still making almost only red fire vehicles, so does Sweden. It's actually depending on which fire department here in Norway that order the vehicles, as there ain't no standard color. So... we'l...

Re: So, what do E30 owners do when they aren't Zoning?
I love that flourescent coloured Fire engine, looks so diferent to the normal red one! That's the new standard for the fire vehicles here in Norway. It's not decided by the law or anything, but as the ambulances changed color to this color (Named "Rescue Yellow") the fire vehicles changed after a w...

My E30 M3 S50B30 Euro
Hi! I tought i could post up some pics of my current project. I bought the car two years ago (Man, things are going slowly!), and after ONE day on the road when I got her back home I spun a rod bearing. The crankshaft was also destroyed. So, I ripped almost the whole car in pieces; engine, drivetrai...

Re: So, what do E30 owners do when they aren't Zoning?
I build firetrucks / fire vehicles for a living. I like my job pretty much all the time. It's hard work and stress for some periods, but in the end I enjoy it very much :) And of course, having access to a lot of materials (Mostly aluminum), and a lot of useful equipment for fabricating stuff is gre...

S50B30 Euro in E30 M3 - Shifter question
Hi! The engine is now finished and it's time to mount the transmission. This is a 5-speed ZF tranny. I'm going to buy a new short shift instead of mounting the old shifter again. I've hear a couple of things about which shifter to get, the E36 or the E30. So my question is; Do I have to buy a E30 sh...

That might be a problem then. I have bought the ECU from another engine. Well, I'll guess I remove it them. But what exactly is included in the "vapour recirculating system"? Is this black canister on the left side here included? (See picture - behind the windscreen washer fluid reservoir) Is...

S50B30 Fuel tank breather valve - help?
Hi! I got a quick question about the fuel breather valve on my S50B30 Euro engine. The engine is from a RHD car, and now I am swapping the loom from a LHD car to match my LHD E30 M3. But the new LHD loom doesn't have the plug that goes to the Fuel tank breather valve which is located at the engine m...
