Re: Stumped - 325i not starting
Oh and on the very faint chance, I took the battery off and tested it for a dead cell, in which it was fine. So gave it a full charge, and put it back on the car to give it a good try whilst cranking.

Stumped - 325i not starting
Model - 325i. Year - 1987 Engine - M20B25 High comp. Management - Motronic 1.0, '073' ECU I'm a bit stumped as to what is my problem here, so I'll run through what happened, and what I've done, to try and give a better understanding. My 325i will not start, it just keeps cranking. Checked for fuel, ...

Whilst i'm at it, shall I post the pm's from the other zoners who wasted my time... No.

From memory, there is a right angled adaptor that fits into a socket on the left side of the back face, that is for the aerial.
Oh, do you need a loom then...?

Re: Blaupunkt Memphis - Amp Wiring (Component and Sub)
The male connections at the bottom of the unit, 3 of them go to the accessory socket. 1 goes to the aerial. Speakers are on a seperate loom. The 8 pin sockets do nothing on my set up. I have got a loom from the accessory socket that is out of the car, if a picture of that would help as well...? I al...

I got the 15" BBS off my 325i done by them a few months back now. They did the centre caps too, and guess what they actually fitted afterwards. And little things like the fact they masked up the face that meets the hub. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. This reminds me.... Rav any luck on you...

Re:
Would Coopers of Cobham have been New Central Garage in 1984...?
I got a spec sheet on my car from BMW that says 15111 Cooper (Cob) but I thought this was one of the dealers which became a Cooper partner later on.
In any case just want to get the correct dealer name for a 1984 car.
Muchos.

Re: 1983 323i Henna Red 2 door "number 45" (UDP260
You could only get all vinyl rears in the early models. So the above fronts and vinyl rear are actually correct for a 6 cylinder car.
4 cylinder cars had all vinyl fronts.

AFAIK those rear door cards are actually correct fergus. :D Out of interest, does anyone know what number of cars were built before the launch...? As I have an original invitation to a dealer launch of the 323i, and the car featured is not in Henna red. My guess is that there was quite a number made...

Re: Quiet SS back-box?
New centre and backbox from BMW is around 400 notes, for the 3 peice system. I intend on going down this route, ditching a relatively quiet stainless system, as you just can;t match the refined exhaust note from a genuine system in my humble opinion. Just need to find out what part number will give ...

And the type that the tail pipes are off centre on the back face of the backbox, not the ones with the kink in them...? I am very strongly considering going to an oem syste...

What are you cutting off your seat...? Nothing needs to be cut off.
