Hey guys,
Bored with my Azev A's and rather than bother refurbing them i'm thinking of shifting them on as they are and getting different wheels, fancy a set of Borbet A's, but what other options are there out there? Black tech 2 sport by the way

Re: Price on s50 into an e30?
If you picked up an E36 m3 for £2500 (of which there are quite a few on offer with rusty bodies etc) surely the conversion would cost a hell of alot less then £6k?

Re: Just Tested the Blue coolant temp sensor
Hot resistance seems a bit high. Should be more like 0.33k (not 0.33 ohms!). Are you sure the car is getting up to correct running temp? Where did you measure the resistance of the sensor? It should be done at the ECU plug, especially on a M20. Sorry 0.33k ohms, unplugged the sensor lead and measur...

Just Tested the Blue coolant temp sensor
Hey guys, My 325i has been a bit sore on petrol lately (18 mpg) so i've checked all the usual suspects, tps, icv, fuel pipes, and all rubber boots. Everything seems in order except for the Blue coolant temp sensor, it's reading a resistance of 4.7k ohms when cold and 0.48k ohms when hot. From what i...

325i petrol leak
Hey guys, I think my 325i has a petrol leak, it seems very hard on petrol at the minute and seem to judder when coasting in 5th gear. There seems to be some petrol on the splash guard around the front of the engine as if its dripping down. I've checked the fuel pipe going to the injector rail and it...

Is this being send via royal mail? Not meaning to sound narky but If so why is the postage so expensive, i've sent many items to England that i've sold on Ebay and the charges are the same from NI to England as NI to NI mainland?

Hey, I'd like a quote for a blue coolant temp sensor (the one linked to the ECU, not the dash gauge one) for a 1991 325i sport posted to Northern Ireland please.
Thanks,

Sounds promising, does the kit come with instructions? Is there alot of wiring involved in the conversion? Also, are the injectors disconnected completley, some of the info I was reading talked about having to start the car on petrol then change over to gas?

LPG converting an M20
Hey guys, I've been doing a bit of reading up on LPG conversions and know that a few on here have gone for it with their M20's, I just have a few questions. Is it feasible to carry this out DIY? Re: s50 engined e30's
It;s definitley a conversion that i'll seriously be considering doing in the future. I'll be starting with my sport, and by the time I sell the bits off the m3 that I don't need the engine and box should only be standing me about £1.5k. Also have a mate who is handy with stainless steel mainfolds. ...

out of interest where do the major costs to amount to £6k cost come into this conversion Ive said it before and I'll say it again, its not just a case of buying an engine, fitting it and driving it away - if it was that simple, everyone would be doing it. http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=For...

They are an animal on the juice but if you can afford £20 for 100 miles and less when you put the foot down then go for it! revving them is addicitve especially with a nice stainless steel line and this doesnt help mpg either!

What is the plastic white thing for? Also, my sport has the toolkit on the left, but also has a plastic box of bulbs and fuses in with the jack with a bmw logo on it so thats probably why they don't have a bulb holder

Seems I may have a more serious central locking problem than I first imagined, although, if I refit the deadlock microswitch surely I can just deadlock the car every time to lock both doors and the boot via the central locking?
