Re: 170 ST??
used to have one of these, loved it to bits. fantastic handling, great sounding engine & exhaust, practical, very reliable ( I had it two years, NOTHING went wrong. ) Only minus point, whilst 6th was a great motorway cruising gear, I felt that the intermediate ratios were too long, blunting the engi...

That was quick! Thanks for the replies guys, will try the above, as they don't work irrespective of which door is open, fuse though is ok, first thing I checked. Front wishbone - rear bushes
As above, for the second time in two years, these have split again, genuine parts as well
The original part number for the set is 31129058931, can anyone confirm that the bushes from the M3 (part number 31129061222) are a direct replacement.
Thanks for the help
Arthur

Re: Heated washer jet wiring loom
As Brian said, the heated jet loom should have TWO blue plugs. Are you sure that the two loose bullet connectors are not the remnants of the second blue plastic connector which has lost its blue plastic ? By the way, does the temperature in Athens ever go below zero anyway ?[/quote] After closer exa...

Re: Heated washer jet wiring loom
Thanks for the replies guys. the blue two pin plug corresponds to the washer pump plug the two bullet connectors are definitely an integral part of the loom and not an add on. From what I understand of Brian's reply, the washer pump plug also heats the jets??? If this is the case, I suspect the two ...

Sorry if this has been covered before but I could not find anything relevant using ”asearch”a ”¢ Where does the blue two pin connector plug into? ”¢ There are two single female bullet connectors adjacent to the blue plug, where do these plug into? I don’t know if it makes any difference to the above...

Do the bolts have nuts as well, because I fitted the bolts could not see how the nuts would fit as there is no access to the bolts from behind, or are nuts not necessary...?? I bought a genuine fire extinguisher mounting from Theo
question is I can't see how the metal base is mounted on to the seat. The mounting holes line up OK but I can't see how the bolt goes throught the seat frame??
If anyone has retrofitted this, any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Re: One for the ford freaks.
I remember reading about the "Kendal" RS1700T in Performance Ford, I think it was around 1991/92, I recall from the article, that it was lack of development funds within Ford that finally killed off the car. I think with sufficient resources it would have been a great car. Oh, and having an anorak m...

Re: Leather - is there a "magic bullett"?
+1 for Gliptone, in my case though as the leather was sun dried in places, it took about ten applications to get the leather to soften, was worth it in the end though
plus it smells great inside the car now.
