I live a 2 minutes walk from my local ECP, and tbh if i need anything for either on my BM's i will always pop in there, never had any problems with wrong parts etc. and anything they don't have in stock they will either get in later that day or the next morning, so maybe i have just been lucky :?:

Wouldn't say that, just lack of room to work, changing plugs is a days job on its own especially when you get to the last 2 on the nearside :cry:

as you say it would be good to stuff the v12 into an e34 afterwards, id junk all the suspension and stuff though, its horribly complicated as i found out on my 540. Yep EDC shocks are a fortune to replace! I had an E32 750 a couple of years back great fun, even if the OBC only showed an average of ...

A quick hello

Not new to BMW ownership having owned E34 530 ,535, 525 - E32 735, 750 and currently E39 535, but just acquired my first E30, and here she is, 1985 320i Baur, needs a fair bit of work doing to bring her up to scratch, but nothing TOO serious.
