Re: Braided tank vent hose / pipe
Hi Brian! Glad to see you're still looking out for us :) But I had to go a bit Rambo on it. The hose had adhered to the beginning of the tube by the tank, and the remainder of the tube was filled with rust and crud. I managed to pull the 2 plastic pipes out the wheelwell, but the hose tore at both e...

Hi Mark,
Was yours rusted inside?
Im having issues removing the hose inside this tube.. So just wanted to know if the reason could be rust has grown in around the hose..

Braided tank vent hose / pipe
The hose was perished behind the metal protection cover. A full tank confirmed the leak. Sorry Brian , you lost me mate.
Which pin?
But stangest thing happened.. Starded the car today. No problem at all
All worked
Tried the 10 times test.. And it kept working .. So could it be a loose connection behind the switch?

Re: ABS Relay Mod ..anyone done it?
Sorry to hijack, .. But i did the relay mod on mine. I had the older type metal relay on the left side (lhd) under the steering cowling. The thin fuse wire was indeed burned over. I got hold of an inline fuse holder and soldered this to the body as shown on the diy. Fitted the housing in place and i...

The "panel glass" can be prised out from the middle , and arched to give enough clearance for the tabs on either end to free up, then just lift out the bulb housing, The circuit board can then be plucked...

Turned out to be 2 motors and the conto, unit that needed to be changed. Now nice and smooth
Also changed the 4 o-rings on the head>coolant pipe on the s14 so no more water leak
And then took it for a drive for about 4 hours
