F0xy, Do you build customer engines?
My e30 bodywork needs some love, so you could have the M50B25 Alpina lump to convert to M50B30 while it's been fixed, (if you do take on work?)
If not can you assist with finding parts for the build?

No mines non vanos. It's a "cap" about 1" diameter held in with a circlip that I can push with my finger.
Done some digging on the net and it appears that there are o-ring seals behind these which have probably gone hard on mine as it's been sat for so long.

Re: Alpina M50 2.5 Laguna Green
Brand new lambda sensor fitted.
I have nowhere to put this sensor which used to live in the airbox:

would that make a big difference?
What is it and how does it work?

Re: Alpina M50 2.5 Laguna Green
Got this running and legal after three years.
Does anyone know if the Alpina B2.5 is guttless up until 4k revs? This is, and then it goes fooking mental.
Could the diff ratio be a bit too tall for it?

Re: bosch plastic bypass valves
Is it an ABY engine sir? 1.4 bar of boost is a bit above standard isn't it  280bhp? I had an audi 100 s4 and loved it. AAN engine, what a great engine that was. Indeed it is an ABY - 280bhp and six speed quattro. It has been re-mapped to 1.4 bar and the wastegate spring is standard and in ...

Evil on it's way home:

What exhaust systems have people used? I don't want to restrict it.
Are there any issues with Mongoose?
Does anyone use the Milltek for the e30 M3?

Re: Alpina M50 2.5 Laguna Green
Just to inform the doubters - the E36 propshaft fits like a glove in the E30 shell when fitted with an E30 centre bearing mount and the E36 box. The gear stick lines up perfectly too. winkeye So get a rusty E36 and pinch the lot from it, then get a E34 520i sump and it all goes straight in. I used t...
