Re: 325i felt slow
a sports cam will liven it up at 3,500 - but you loose a bit low down. Very happy with mine. Oh & shave a bit off the flywheel...it all adds up ££££££££

Big Brake Kit recommendations
Hi,
Looking to upgrade the brakes on my track car. I've seen 'kits' for over £1k but thats a bit over the top - can anyone recommend a good big brake kit at a reasonable price.
325i 1987 on 15" rims
thanks

Great first day out in this car at Elvington. The weather was dry and so an excellent opportunity to try out the R888’s and the rest of the car. Some of the usual cars there but also a GTR with uprated exhaust (is that necessary!) and a Dodge Viper ”“ but relatively quiet. Great to empty the water o...

Re: Induction heat shield availability
Piper got back to me - they dont do them.
I'm after the housing type as in the link I posted - not just a cover.
Cant find them on ebay - any ideas? Any fabricator willing to make some may find good interest in them...

Re: Anyone know what 6 branch this is?
hottuning I think - he has a build thread on here, looks like he's breaking it - legit tho. I've just had the manifold, cam & exhaust fitted (paid full wack!!) - with a live map its now doing 186bhp (325i 1987). The cam is fun - I wanted the more severe one but was advised on this same ratio (mine w...

Yep I realise 50/50 is out unless you want to add weight (i'll skip that) - battery is a good idea - will even things up.

no, not in the car. Just been simply stripped & fibreglass bonnet, 2 race seats - no reduction from the bumpers.
I thought it was quite good tho (will look at the battery thanks)

Balance & weight
Just had loads of work done (will update my build post with all this soon) including cage fitting - had the car weighed up, looking good. What does everyone think about the weight distribution? Not bad but not quite the illusive 50/50 Total: 1061 kg Front: 55% Rear: 45% Front Left 287kg Front Right ...

Nice one Blitz - I did look on fleabay but didnt come up with that. I've asked a question as there are apparantly a number of different heads for the 325i
Been quoted £420 just for the head!! I cant do that I'd rather buy another car
Thanks again Blitz

Hi,
I've got a hottuning manifold on its way - I've read up on the benefits of insulating the exhaust to keep it hot & flowing. Anybody got an opinion on lagging the manifold & if its beneficial
Thanks
