New Setup
Hey guys i have recently bought a 318is, and when i play any music it sounds crap, so i was thinking i should do a complete overhaul while i have some free time on my hands :-) I have a good enough stereo (4x50W) but all the speakers distort, especially when a song has any bass. I have a budget of a...

Re: 318is problem...please help!
I tried the starter motor just now, and it made a few clicking noises the first time, but the second time it did try and start. So my dad was there and he gave the starter a few knocks with a hammer, tried it from the ignition and it started. It seems like the starter motor had seized, so do you rec...

Re: 318is problem...please help!
You need a meter that can measure the max amperage the battery can produce. Any business selling car batteries should have one, they are not a DIY tool but a good mechanic might have the kit and be able to do the test for you. Sounds like you have enough current in your battery to power the relays ...

Steering wheel
The steering wheel in my 318is feels too big for my liking, so i was thinking about changing it.
So any suggestions as to what i can do? keeping in mind i don't really want to spend more than 80-90 quid.

Cheapest Insurance for a 19 year old?
Hi guys I would like to know which insurance companies some of the younger zoners use for their E30. The cheapest quote i've had so far is 1700 from directline on a 318is. As you may have guessed from the subject i'm 19, so classic car insurance won't do as you have to be over 25 in most cases. Help...

Re: 318i or 318is
Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated. Yeh I realised the insurance difference, its about £150 from the two quotes I got, but i think it may be worth it considering the extras that come as standard, although i've been hard pushed to find a quality 318is going for less than £1800. And thats a bi...

318i or 318is
I've been driving for a year now, and i think its about time I upgrade my car. After long careful consideration (bout 2mins :D ) ive set my heart on an e30. Now the only e30's i'll be able to afford the insurance on would be a 316 or 318. I would prefer a 318 purely for the extra poke, so that bring...
