Oil capacities the same? M40/M42

Ok basicly as title, wanting to know if the oil levels,(engine and gearbox) are the same as the m40. I have an m42 but here on the zone articles and in my trusty haynes manual it only lists m40.

Your help is once again appreciated. Cheers

Re: What interior is this???

Sorry to ruin your day but that trim is worthless. It is a worn standard blue houndstooth check 4 door trim from a later chrome bumper car that has had a bolster (singular) replaced by Stevie Wonder in vinyl and some tasteful plastic wood applied by that other known aesthete Ray Charles 8O Remove t...

My main aim of this post is to find out basicly if the interior is worth anything more then your average interior. Im not normally one to "frag" cars but this example is pretty much shot so its making a new life ...

What do you class as a shell? A shell will fetch about £20-£30 ish. If it is just a bare shell, i wouldn't expect any cash if you want it picking up.

If everyone jumps on the lpg thats gonna shoot up aswel, these petitions make no difference. If you can't afford to run your car, don't. Pretty simple realy. Or fill up and don't pay.

I've fitted new ones with a press. I'm lucky to enough to have mates that no matter what wont relent and give in to paying people to do things they'd like to be able to do themselves (though there are obviously analogies about hookers we wont mention... lol) and that have bought presses, compressor...

Re: Roll cage installation time

Has uwe said, takes a lot of time, even for the guys who do it day in day out. I watched a cage being built from scratch for a friends competition car and was surprised at the time it takes to make, theres a lot of planning measuring marking cutting etc. Although i realy enjoyed seeing the process.
