I used fuse 16 as recommended, but noticed the other spare accessory pin and wondered what it was for as it had nothing connected.

The other end of the wire is at the accessories socket at the back of the glovebox. The pin you want is the second from the right on the top row, and will have a white/brown wire going to it. Sorry to sound a numpty but is this the accessories plug - seen from the top of the glovebox and underneath...

Hi Recently bought a 1994 Touring and there's always confusion when I buy spare parts as listing usually show E30s ending in 1991 so consequently I get sold E36 parts. Recently, I bought an ISO radio adapter which doesn't fit (it's for an E30) as my radio loom is the same as an E36. Could this mean ...
