Re: to poly or not to poly
Iv got poly ARB bushes m3 lollipop's, just looking at the rear beam and trailing arms. People said it made the ride harsher/noisier. I also knock up a ali steering couple instead of the rubber one coupled with new bilstein shocks and H&R springs and new arb drop links. I must say the car drives love...

Re: AFM Problem
The resistance deffinatly drops and rises over the first half but after that it pretty much drops back to where it started. The correct way to check an AFM is to connect a 6 or 9 volt battery across the terminals that connect to the ends of the track, and monitor the voltage on the slider as the fla...

Re: AFM Problem
All i can think is that the plug terminal has been changed as there is some soldered sections on the circuit board but then the length of the wires dont match. I also bent the wires to come in contact with the solder and retested it but i just got more blips as in small drops in resistance then it r...

Re: Rear suspension rattle
Fixed it cheers guys new it was something shock related If you've just replaced the rear shock absorbers then I'd definately check the bottom shock mount bolt is to correct torque more or less. The metal bush through which the mounting bolt is driven has a very small amount of play between the two a...

While I was out and about last night I developed and annoying rattle from the back end. if you split the gauge into quarters it normally sits between 1/4 and 1/2 but when the light flickered on it was just tipping 3/4 not in the red though. I wasnt convinced with the oil when i bought it as i said.

Re: lowering troubles???
Iv just fitted a set of H&R springs to my SE and i can highly recommend them, meant to be a -35mm drop but even straight away before they have settled it appears to be more than the jamex kit that was on which i was led to believe it was a 40-30 split. But those coupled with Bilstein shocks really a...

The cone filter will almost defiantly reduce the power and fuel consumption, or it seamed to as mine came with one. I changed back to the standard box with a k&n panel filter and also cut out some of the slot in the grill by the feed pipe on the air box works a treat. I honestly cant see the benefit...
