i'm not sure if the cover from the back will fit. you definately have to change it because the e36 diff is mounted with 2 bushings and the e30 one with 1. not onlt that the speed sensor is not direct fit e30 will not work on an e36 diff with either e36 or e30 back plate, and e36 one will not work o...

Well, I have the afforementioned letter from BMW confirming it was supplied without a P/MAC number stamped on the chassis plate. I think given the circumstances it is reasonable to assume it was supplied like this because it was going straight to Hartge. This is quoted from the letter in question B...

it will be very hard to have an "original spec" car, as there are a few variations to the options available. the conversion is still available, but the car will neve be an H36 as such, only 6 were officially made with hartge vin no's. is your one a genuine H36 or converted one ? for sure it seems to...
