Re: K&N cone Induction Kit - The truth!

I assumend it was because the injection system used in the older BMW's was too primative to take advantage of the increased airflow (ie chucking more fuel in) so it would just run lean. If you get the figures for K&N airflow they are rediculously high compared to a paper filter. And a very small K&N...

CB's rock, I fitted one to me land rover. You need to SWR the whole rig really, whatever the aerial. The position of the aerial etc makes a difference, you have to have the right reflection yada yada. it probably wont be out enough to blow your rig up but it might be a lot better to use if you sorte...

Very unfortunate event and my thoughts are with everyone involved.

The important thing is that we must all learn a little from incidents like this. Take care on the road and enjoy life, you never know whats just around the corner.

Just look in the local paper or whatever for those adds that say 'we will buy your scrap car' etc etc. Any of those gyppos will take it no problem.

If you do get her a 5* car then dont tell her thats why you bought it, the safer people feel the more risks they take.

Christ alive man. I think 306 d turbo's are group five, ford ka's are like group three. The nissan Micra 1.0l 16v is a cracking car, cheap and you wont be tempted to waste money 'tuning' it like you seem to be determined to do to your E30. Spend the rest on beer, a gym and forget about fast cars fo...

Tyre wear on a lowered car

how do you guys cope??? all 4 of my tyres are bald on the inside but look new on the outside edge! just way too much camber from lowering it. was thinking about camber correction rear arms, would have to make the track a bit narrower so the wheels still fitted in the arches. anyone done it before? c...
