Thanks for all the good luck wishes! You are all so nice. This place really does need the warning when you log in. Lol
After just a couple of posts on the thread someone knows of one, so it's worth putting up with all the pointless posts from people with really no reason to be interested.
Peace

Re: Real long shot here
This has been discussed many times and when looked into non have been done very well. Shall I start a new thread asking what people's opinions are of the conversion? You can discuss it there, because with respect that's not what I've asked. If your suggesting I'm ploughing an old furrow I'd respect...

Re: Real long shot here
They don't exist except in BMW concept department and one or 2 bodged up cars you wouldn't want Now that just isn't true is it, I've seen pictures of at least a couple of dozen different ones and they don't look very bodged to me. I'm fully aware that BMW did not make such a vehicle for public sale.

E36 320i Touring
Hi all, I've been a member on the Zone for a while when I started building an S50 E30 (now sold on), however I've always had a 3rd car bit of a load lugger, Dog and Tip car. Picked up a real peach of an e36 touring a little while ago, it's truly mint, 70k miles, one owner from new, bought from, serv...

I have hopefully sourced a 1993 touring now but will continue to bug this prick just for the hell of it!

I am not drawing conclusions just stating the facts as I see them, I never said that failing banks should be bailed out just that they would be bailed out. I still believe that its the fault of anyone who was greedy whatever capacity they were in, I wasn't greedy and can still afford my Mortgage bec...

I agree that the current government does seem keen to erode freedoms and that the innocent are being criminalised as its easier than getting at the real issues.

Re: BMW Scrapping incentive!
Where in my post did I say "Stuff we all know"? I just can't find it so I am not sure what you are referring to. We all got greedy, rising house prices were great and people re-mortgaged against them to fund more lavish life styles. The financial system is far too complicated so although a valiant e...

Re: Should I take the DVLA to court?
What exactly are you going to take them to court for? To sue someone you have to have suffered some sort of loss (not necessarily an immediate financial one).
I can't see any loss here, you just seemed to have been caught by some busy body moving an un-taxed car on council property.

Re: BMW Scrapping incentive!
To understand why this tactic is being considered you need to understand the economics of what is happening. The banking crisis primarily began because housing prices were being leveraged too much, this was in part allowed by the de-regulation of mortgage lending. This has left the bank with what is...

Thick end of £800 I am budgeting, by the time I add the brake conversion and the G-werx hub adapters I reckon the whole front/rear suspension & brake package will be about £3k

I have already asked a question on the touring suspension and been told that the struts on all tourings are of the 51mm 325i variety. Given that have they got this wrong states 45mm strut: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SPAX-RSX-COILOVER-KIT-BMW-316i-Touring-318i-Touring-E30_W0QQitemZ290293351830QQcmdZViewIt...

There's not much really between them in the real world - I've owned both, many times over. £3500 will generally buy you a better 328 than an M3. Drive both first. i too have owned both, and i agree, there's not enough of a difference between them to warrant the 'm' running costs. the 328i sport i o...
