Re:

I will be going in a red E30 M3, I will try to say hello if I see any of you.

It has been a last minute choice to go with some friends who have non-e30's so will be getting a ticket on the day.

Re: Complete power outage, S50'd 325i Sport

Doesn't sound like an immobiliser/alarm issue to me, very odd symptoms if it is. To easy to blame the immobiliser if it don't start. I would guess there is a broken/corroded wire/contact somewhere. I would start at the battery and work through to check where you have good power to, it is worth makin...

Re: E30 M3 alloy wheels....

I can sympathise with being confused as it still confuse's me. I am no expert. I have had rubbing issues on my cars, I have 235 45 17 on the front of my road M3 and they rub on 3/4 lock at the front and the back of the arch (until the tread wears down :D ) As far a I have been able to gather the lim...

Re: E30 M3 alloy wheels....

There is some good info here http://board.s14power.com/showthread.php?t=1748 You could also search on S14.net as the yanks love their wide rims winkeye . I'm sure someone on there will have found out the widest you can fit. Is the car modded in any other way? i.e. lowerd or non STD brakes as that ca...

Re: E30 M3 alloy wheels....

The Standard 15" are 7" wide with ET30 and the Sport Evo 16" are 7.5" wide with ET27. Knowing this you can compare the relative dimensions of any wheels you are looking at buying by using an online wheel offset calculator like this one http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp One other poi...

Re: Ashby Folville - Leicestershire - Tues 13th April

It was a really good meet, with a real mix of stuff. I guess it will be even bigger and better with better weather in the summer, and would recomend it to anyone. I will certainly make the trip again. There was another E30 318I moordoor there that didn't seem special or that clean but the bloke want...

Re: Anyone recomend someone for Gearbox Reconditioning

Hi guys,

thanks for the input, Kent transmissions seem to be the way to go. 350 quid to rebuild with uprated bearings etc which seams a good idea as it is going back in the track car

Hi,

Can anybody recomend anybody who can recondition an E30 M3 gearbox. Preferably in the south of England.

Cheers
