Hmmm it doesn't sound like it is but double check the plug on the back of the diff. Mine had coroded but I had no speedo. odometre or mileometre. Worth checking though just in case.

1- Check light. Check what? Your chuddies are still attached?

2 - Brake Wear sensor light is on in a 240kph car. My ring would tingle when that light came on.

Sorry, OTT - Gareth Where's your airflow meter gone? I've recently put a BMC carbon filter on and I'm having problems with the heavy and cumbersome AFM hanging in mid air since the air box has been removed along with the AFM fixings.

K, that is cheap. Even my local non BMW spanner monkey round the corner wanted £180 and he didn't even know how to open the bonnet on mine.
I am by no means a compitent hands on kinda guy, but I recently service mine no problem. Give it a go yourself next time and save the money.

Rust is the biggest issue now. Keep an eye out for the inner wheel arches being rotten through. Check scuttle panel and sunroof for scabs. Bushes can be an expensive issue with the E30 so check all of them. Check the oil filler cap for mayo as cracked heads are common and an arm and leg to put right...

No The clips won't fit as the lip on the side skirt sits about an inch & a half from the seal that the clip sits on.
It's a geet that's for sure.

Hey Rav. Yes I have. They don't fit. They are bowed and the bottom lip doesn't wsit up against the seal.
