Re: 318i m40 fuel consumption
How about a E36 318i? how dare you suggest I opt for a e36 over a e30 whilst on this forum lol. tbh I really miss my old e30 and although I have loved my last two e36's I still wish I kept my old e30. besides I have a houndstooth baby seat and would like to get a matching interior like I had in my ...

318i m40 fuel consumption
Before people suggest I try searching for the result I have tried but never got anywhere. Due to the fact I am expecting my first child I am looking at getting rid of my e36 328 sport and downsizing to something smaller (hopefully back in a e30) One option I am looking at is a e30 318 (nice one on e...

You've done a nice job with the V8, could almost pass as a factory fitted engine.
Just a shame I never got to hear her running.

No I'm afraid they are just material and no doorcards, I retrimmed the door cards to match the black and yellew leather seats that I left in when I sold her. just cleaned them and the drivers one is worse than I remembered hole in the lumber area (center panel) aswell as badly worn on the base, also...

I like that, a lot.
but I think you should spend another 10 hours and bring the bonnet down to a straight edge (where the kidneys were) and fill the recess in the lower panel (where the kidneys were again)

If you want stealth stick to standard lights, smoked lights would look ok as you have the black number plate surround, or if you want to be different try some clear lights but have them and the number plate surround colour coded, (the paint on the lights will have to be mixed with plenty of clear co...

Amp seems a little underpowered to me, sub can be wired to show 1ohm and will handle 1000 wrms, but the amp will only put out 750 wrms.

@ chisel, I'm not 100% sure but most site's claim that E30's have a 15-25 mm offset so if you fit them adapters you will basically be extending the hub out by another 15mm to around a 30-40mm offset. so to fit wheels without upsetting the handeling you will need a set with a 30-40 mm offset, I think...

I know how popular this comment will be, but would you wear red and orange together? No because the colours clash. Would you decorate a room in your house red and orange? No because the colours clash. Personally if I had a chromie I would try smoked ones that would blend into the black bit of the bu...

if you know what ohm rating your speakers are and at what kind of frequency you want them to cross over at you could always make your own, nothing more than coils and capacitors see the link below http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/crosscalc.asp but to be honest I'd go with the focals you pointed out...

I quite like that bumper the little bit on the bottom lines up nicely with the skirts and it's not ott, (wouldn't look right without the skirts).

If you do buy some don't go for lockwood, I've never seen a set that illuminate a night, on previous (non BMW) cars I've had 'Auto Tint Designs' dials, you have to remove the original black dials but at least they are backlit with two different colours like stock lights.

Have you asked some one who can weld plastic? a lot of euro styled cars resort to plastic welding when smoothing bumpers and blending in ABS kits as it won't end up cracking or coming away from the plastic like fibre glass or filler.

The burgandy ones look a little OTT imo but the grey one's look fantastic. Black centers with a polished lip would tie in with all the chrome and black trim on the car, but the wheels themself won't look as nice.
