I'm a complete noob to motorsport how does that pedal box work is it all hydraulic like the accelerator pedal aswell i know clutch and brake pedals are hydraulic even on standard cars but never seen a pedal box like that just wondering how it works and the theory behind it.

i have a very similar problem to you when my car is not driven for a day or 2 it will start fine when cold but then when it's warm it crancks over and then it like disengages the starter sounds like timing goes out of whack even i don't know how to describe it very hard it will do this for a while s...

yeah i found it it was under all the worn out leather but the shifter is all loose can i swap it out for another whole unit or rebuild it

yeah i had a look at the parts for the shifter on realoem.com but can't honestly seem to find this bolt mine is just the standard leather shifter handle i think. Hey guys got an 89 sport with switchable auto and the shifter handle is shagged looks awful so how do i go about getting it of and replacing it also my auto shifter feels all loose and horrible any ideas how to fix it up.

I wonder how this will handle i've been contemplating this swap my self for a while but been put of by thinking it might be too nose heavy and the braking system would be compremised with the remote booster needed

yeah there o3 14'a on there like i said i sold the car ages ago never ran down the quarter i used the 200sx because of the overdrive button cause the car had the 200sx auto in it

i'm in s.e. melbourne the mods on the ca18det were tuned lenghth extractors gt25 turbo and other little mods i can't remember of the top of my head i sold the car a while ago if you read the first post i now have a 325is

thanks for the coments guys yes this car was setup to run on the 1/4 mile and had a big stall convertor in it to match the larger turbo and as maxfield said the auto box is best for 1/4 mile racing yes thats a 200sx motor
