Right, I have removed diff, propshaft, all brake lines, cables etc and the 22mm nut each side and punched the 2 bolts out through the inside of the car but it just sits there. If you are binning the discs use a grinder to grind the head of the allen bolt off down to the thread. Always worked for me.

In Glasgow they can't be doing this as I took my plate off in August when the car was over 17yrs old. Not even a hint of an inspection.

I am trying to get the mirror off my Sport that I am breaking. Is it clipped or bonded onto the small metal panel on the roof. I tried a flat screwdriver to ease it off but seems stuck. Don't want to break it. Thanks.

On the back of an '89 325i instrument cluster there are 3 sockets, blue, white and yellow. This sounds daft but I can only find a blue and a white plug. Is there a yellow one hiding somewhere or was that for a different market ie U.S.
