Re: Powerflex trailing arm bush
I used superpro and the stainless tubes rusted really badly. Got a new set on warranty and they did the same. Each set lasted about 4 years. Went with OEM in the end, there isn't that much flex in the bush.

Re: Remanufactured driveshafts - anyone used any?
Yep, GKN would have been the best, but at over double the price. I really didn't think SKF would risk their reputation putting out a product that doesn't fit. This is the reply from SKF (but I doubt they will be removing them from sale): the long awaited answer of our technical experts is that VKJC ...

Re: Remanufactured driveshafts - anyone used any?
Report on the SKF driveshafts. 1) Only 1 shaft had new allen head bolts. Shorter bolts were needed as the flange that bolts on the diff is thinner. Had to cut he old ones down by 5mm and they were a real squeeze to get in the holes, very worried about tearing a boot. 2) Nuts on the end of the drives...

Re: Remanufactured driveshafts - anyone used any?
Bit late, but I just bought some SKF ones from MisterAuto for £180 delivered. Fitting them at the moment, look good quality, time will tell. I previously had some GSP ones from GSF which were poor quality, lots of play developed, but they never broke. Clunking got annoying. Don't think you will find...

Re:
aimlessrock, what garages do you recommend in Bolton? I have an E36 compact which needs a bit of welding at the rear inner arch. Tempted to give it a go myself as the garage who did the other side did a rubbish job. Am only in Wigan.

Re: diff bearings
They are standard sized bearings not some special BMW bearing so should be fairly easy to get. My small case bearings were ex NATO stock! Just google the sizes and it should come up.

Re: Supercharging my IS engine management remap ?????????
Thought about using a rising rate fuel pressure regulator to get you going? Not the best solution at all, but the cheapest and easiest. For eaton parts this guy from supercharger solutions in scotland is good william.walker71@btinternet.com Suppliers for eaton parts are very hard to come by in the U...
