E30 Zone

I've been looking into supercharging my 318is and have spotted an eaton m62 off a Mercedes Has anyone ever used one of these ? I'm a qualified mechanic so not afraid of the spanners and some fabrication but I've never supercharged a car so not even sure how to plumb it up . A turbo I can figure out ...

Ill be doing the same swap as yourself in the near future have most of the bits together for it just wondering what suspension and brakes you are using ?

still stuck with this i moved the brake booster over but havent figured out how to connect the linkages up inside the car

The e34 booster is not really hydraulic, but a conventional vacuum-booster. some of the v8 e34's had the hydraulic boosters. i used the hydraulic booster set-up on my last s62 swap Seems that there's always something new to learn every day :) Anyways, hydraulic brake boosters have been fitted also ...

I have used it and it works great! questions i have mainly are how far did you move it over i was thinking of using the 2 holes already there nearest fuse box and drilling two more and the big one obviously but not sure is that far enough ? and secondly what way did you work it inside the car did y...

well there is a hydraulic system also which is worked from the power steering pump this is the system that was in my e34 540

hi guys started my e30 m60 build today i have the engine about a year just needed some motivation :). anyway just wondering is there any guide to using the hydraulic brake system from the 540i e34 this is the setup i have. or any pictures or info on how the brake setup behind the brakle booster was ...

can i ask how far over you moved the brake master cylinder im doing the same conversion as yourself and will be using the hydraulic braking system also

got an m60 4.0v8 with a 6 speed box what route is best taken for a propshaft .

is there a direct fit one

or will it have to be custom and any info/pics

what diff ratio have you got im going using a rebuilt 3.15 with 40% lock and 4 clutch plate mod in my m52d car

ya but the m20 combination is much lighter

right my m52 conversion will be getting under way shortly got a m20 starter and flywheel will be getting it ligthened but wonderin what clutch people are using its a 2.8 aswell im using an m50 manual box what clutch do i use is an m20 325 clutch upto the job
