E30 Zone

whats the best suspension you can use on a e30 that will be for weekend use only ,going doing a full restoration ,every car ive had coilovers in were very solid and bumpy for road driveing besides does a good coilover even exist for the e30 ,my last e 30 had bilistein shocks and lowering springs but...

i mean out of a 535td onto a m30 engine

i mean adsl out 0f a 535 e36

so would a gearbox out of the disel version do

what other box will mate up to the m30 engine and out of what car

take off the panel at the footwell and take out the speaker driver side there is a black box in the pillar change that.it wount be that obvious to find

i was looking for m30 for my track car and i gave up in the end because i couldnt get one with a manual box.can get any amount of them in auto

that would be great but most of them engines have serious milage on them and are getting a bit tired

probably go 6 cylinder if anything.has anybody on here tryed the newer engines ie from a 03 3 or 5 series

either open to every option

so in the terms of getting my hands on a cheap breaker which car would i get nearly everything out of for the conversios

ok people im fed up with playing wit this 318 m40 lump.what i want to know is there any engine and box out of the newer beemers that will fit into the e30 without too much arsing about.m3 lump would be nice but to much chopping needed i think.dont say m30 because getting one of them with a manual bo...

someone told me the 525td box bolts on would that be right just that the ratios would be all over the place

i am going doing a m30 conversion but all i can get my hands on are auto boxes.as it is going to be drift car is there any other box that fits i wouldnt beworried about top end speed

i just came across 2 735i 89 models at right money.as this engine is now going into my 320 e30 i would like to know what gearbox just bolts on as both cars are auto.as this will be a drift car is there a box with lower ratio that would be good for 1st 2nd nd 3rd gear as top end wount matter.is there...

ok i dont want to go aginst the bm engines but what would people think of the toyota 1jz or the honda s2000

i dot mid spending money on a m power as long as i know its going to be reliable also dont want to take a big step back as i am runnig a 350bhp 180sx at the moment which is for sale by the way

it hard to know what to use then dose the people who have done the m30 conversion.crave more power after a couple of months or is there a permanent smile on your face

so is there much work getting a m30 into a e30

how much does that fella want for the engine and has he got the loom and box as well

ya he has the build on driftworks its a wheapon to go

a mate of mine is running one in a manta thats what put it in my head.he is running his own managment system though

has anyone on here done this conversion . will it mean cutting much of the bulk head and is the wireing very complicated.how much are u talking for the full m3 running gear

i recently bought a 2 door 320 to start a new track/drift build.i will be busy seam welding and cageing it for a while .would anyone have any idea what would be the best engine transplant for it because im looking for the best power and realibility as i am sick of fixing nissans every evening

has anybody bought one of them turbo kits off e bay for a 320 .are they any good and do they make much of a difference
