tool to remove diff rubber mount ?
does anyone know if and where i can buy a tool to remove the diff rubber mount without having to remove the diff ? I have seen these advertised for E46 but none for E30 .. appreciate any help . tks richard

i just installed some -40mm lowering springs on my 325 sport but its too low to live with .. Car has problems with ramps , speed bumps driveway access etc.. the standard mtec springs are way too high . should i go for adjustable coilovers or is there anyway i can stick with these springs and fix wit...

dumb thing to do
at weekend i fitted spacers to the rear wheels and used overlong studs to attach . The car was on an incline and rolled back off the jack back making a nasty noise at the hubs . I think the overlong studs must have hit something on the inside I hastily re jacked the car and removed spacer and refitt...

thanks much for the comments and i agree the 15" bbs look ok but they just dont fill the wheel arches the same as these do .. I might compromise with a 16" alpina or azev style wheel .. will post some more pics if i do ..

had this for a few months now ... the 325is or Sport is quite rare in Aus .I took the Sport spoiler off and replaced with a regular heckspoiler which looks a lot better IMO . i just noticed my 1990 318is discs are badly scored and need to be replaced .Are these the same as regular 318i discs or do they take a different disc ??

yes they are 4 stud 17" which bolt strait on . I have leant them to friend for his 325is (sport in uk ) , I will take a picture next time i see him and the car and load it on here so you can see how they look .

steve the wheels fit strait on with no spacers .. I have two sets exactly the same except the second set has word "Motorsport" stamped into the centres . next time i take one off , i will look for any markings and let you know

i have the front spoiler which still needs painting up but i dont have the mtec 2 bumper ..very difficult to find in Oz.. still i will keep on looking .. If any one know where i can get one please let me know ...........for now , i have to run with the regular bumper and iS lip spoiler ..

i guess you could clean the car but it would take a while .. you either fire compressed air or compressed air plus a liquid .. its best for interior upholstery /carpets where you use a carpet/fabric cleaner concentrate slightly diluted .. on dash board u can use armoral . you can clean alloy wheels ...

i got one off ebay ..they are excellent .. .. can do upholstry , carpets , dasboard , engines bays , rubbers , convertible tops .. well worth it . you just need a good compressor and tank for constant use

but these new ones are 80mm shorter than the old ones which mayhave already been flatenned say 20mm so the drop vs unflattened would be 80+20 = 100 . im really looking for a max 40mm drop so im worried these are way too low Waht do you think about packing the gap with additional rubber under the exi...
