I proceeded to drive slowly to a nearby lane and await rec...

Hi Zoners, Can anyone help me? Over the last few days my 325i, on early morning start ups doesn't seem to kick-in the idle valve and just cuts off as soon as I take my foot of the gas. Could this be my idle valve on its way out ore something else? Sometimes I have to sit there with the foot on the g...

Should I check the window override button and its connection in the centre console?

What do I do if it's all connected but still no window function?

Thanks

Dear Zoners, my e30 brake lights seem to stay on even when I've lifted my foot off the pedal.. :? If I lift my foot off quick enough then the light goes out, but if lifted gradually then the brake light stays on... Any ideas? Does it mean I have a sticky brake switch? If so where is it? And how easy...

Re: 325i idle valve

Thanks Brianmooore,

Where would the throttle position switch be, and how would I know that it's behaving correctly?

To clean the idle valve, is it as simple as disconnecting and soaking it in carb cleaner for a few hours?

Thanks, tripper
