Hello Martin Yes its me im doing well thanks, you ? The car is all up and together now its taken a while to get sorted. Got yours finished yet ? If you have let me know when your out next. Im at cadwell on the 27th and I will be doing Croft with the BMW club 6th of July not booked anything else yet....

I put this up so other people do not make the same mistake not for silly comments, the top of the tyres are just below the arches and driveshaft are only just off straight. The coilover kit is GAZ gold 275lbs rear 500lbs front they have bumpstops and yes im sure its not the springs getting coilbound...

I fitted my trackday car with coilovers all round, the car sat with the top of the tyres just below the arch, car went well but when it oversteered it would snatch back violently sometimes spinning you back the other way. Glad to hear you all had a good day, im chuffed that my rear suspension is sorted I can get the car set up properly. back out on the 27th at Cadwell if anyone fancys that.

Jon yes its an S2000 engine and box makes a nice conversion. 8) Both myself and FieldL have owned S2000's in a previous life. I would LOVE to do that. Try HIC they do mine E30 striped/caged with a honda engine in for £220 limited to 3000 miles.

Hello Ashley The conversion isnt to hard to do at all, you only need to make up 1 pipe, the return can be made up from the old BMW pipes. The saxo pump you can use a banjo and bolt instead of the pipe effort they use. As for reliability carn't see it being to much of a problem as there are plenty of...

Hello Jamie Cheers for putting the photos up, when I work out how to post photos I will put some more up. The car runs standard S2000 engine & box (engine spins the normal way, its 247 bhp 185 ft lbs torque) / half honda half bmw prop/ e30 diff /z3 rack with a saxo elec power steering pump/ the rest...

I dont think you will get on with toe out on the rear for sure, it needs to be either parrallel (which is alittle twichy) or toe in which makes it more stable ( toe in 0.24 + or - .07 standard) the more toe in you have the more stable it gets. Hi I have this set up on mine (home made job), it is set parallel track and 1 deg neg of camber. Was a pain to adjust for sure but now its right I shouldn't need to touch it again.

I use studs and have them lock wired at the back of the hub, maybe 6/7mm sticking out and have no probs at all.

Trackday car fuel tank question

Any of the trackday guys using standard 325 fuel tanks ? do you get any problems with fuel starvation. Im just putting my trackday car together and the tank is out at the moment so I can do something about it, my last car was a pain as it needed to be over half full.
