I`ve got the rear end stripped at the min, replacing all bushings and fitting 325 engine and running gear. I decided I was going to need better brakes and I might aswell do them now while I`m in there. So its a bolt on upgrade I dont need to modify anything....?

Re: How can tyres be so confusing - Help ?
Michelin Pilot Sports are the best in my opinion and ContiSport Contact 3`s are very good all rounders aswell. Its worth spendin the money for a tire you trust because at the end of the day its the only thing keeping your car on the road.

Re: BMW sport seat repair?
If the seat back is wobbly, take the rear trim off & it will be apparent how the seat assembles. If you're lucky it'll be as simple as tightening the retaining screw(s). If you're unlucky, the screw won't be there anymore.. If youre seriously unlucky, you may need weld the tab back on the tilt mech...

Re: welded diff
A loss of traction is caused by to much torque being applied to the tires. Once the traction is lost a combination of revs and opposite lock determine the angle or degree of "sidewaysness" and the lenght of the slide.

Re: welded diff
Why dose a welded diff help drifters? Think of the rear wheels working together as oppose to independently. One wont spin without the other. Its like the old matchbox cars we use to play with when we were kids, the wheels would only spin together at the same time as there would be one basic axle co...

Re: welded diff
Sorry I read the question wrong a welded diff locks the diff all the time so both wheels turn at exactly the same speed always. This makes tight bends difficult and parking a nightmare. But makes drifting easier.
