Re: M40 Rotor arm bolts

remember when removing stuck torx and allen bolts always shock load them dont try prgressive torque progressive torque will round it but big force shock loading will either unod it snap the allen key or make it jump out of the screw.

Re: widest tyre on bottletops?

for 50 series tyres and above the rim width should be 70% the tyres section width for a normal road car

so theoretically that means a 205/50 or 55 tyre is the ideal size for a 6 inch rim

Re: M10 engine

The carbed 316 was just as good as the 318i in real life, and they have crisper throttle response. Very early 318i's had Bosch K Jetronic, the switch to LE Jet was made in mid-late 1983 when they came to the UK. A good 316 can feel as lively as a 320i as well. I've driven a 318i M40 with a 4.1 diff...

no just move it.

f=ma a=f/m

you arent changing f or m so a remains the same it will change the way the car feels but the acceleration from standing fstart to terminal velocity will be the same

Re: Ferarri Eater?? Is it possible from an E30?

well alot of it is down to gearing and power to weight aswell as power ... i think to get enough power down to make the most of some different gearing though you would need to tub or arch the rear to fit wider wheels and tyres i reckon you could get an e30 down to 1000kg and a murcialago SV has a po...
