Re: M52B28 keeps coming up with MAF sensor error.
I think you may be right about a dodgy connection or wire, Today i ran the car stationary and it was fine I got the real time analogue values on the inpa. the voltage across the MAF was changing nicely in spec. the air flow reading from the MAF was high but as the car warmed up it came back onto the...

Re: M52B28 keeps coming up with MAF sensor error.
Hi Dan Yeah, I wish I had just replaced the pipercross filter. But they are Jolly expensive. I would like to use an airbox type oem standard filter arrangement however my car has abs and I dont think there is enough room to fit the e36 airbox arrangement. The car came from fritz bits with the K&N co...

M52B28 keeps coming up with MAF sensor error.
I have an e30 with an m52b28 conversion done by the chaps at fritz bits. It has been fine for ages and never had any running problems except for a dodgy thermostat that cause it to stall occasionally. I fitted a pipercross viper carbon fibre enclosed air filter thing so it didnt suck too much hot ai...

Re: Cabbie Question
The flap should stay up, you are correct.
Those little struts do the job.
I got replacement ones from ebay from a company in Germany, they have been on there 6 years and they are still good.
I wouldn't recommend getting second hand ones.

Re: Electric ariel replacement, this one any good?

Re: police
I got pulled over by copper for speeding 10 years ago (when I was a polite chavvy boy racer) in my old corrado G60, i might of been a fraction over the speed limit. Lucky me the coppers were also young and spent 20 minutes looking and asking me about the car and all the mods and 1 minutes asking me ...

Re: Eibach Anti Roll bar Set Up??????
I have h&r roll bars and they are fatter on the front than the rear. so there will be more roll on the back anyway. i reckon you just wanna put both on the stiffist setting (if stiffist is a real word). that's what i done. worked a treat. nearly didn't bother lowering it and after i sort of wish i d...

Re: Whats your BHP? Re-map?
Oooh 260+ bhp !?!?! Thats what I want :D maybe I will get some cams and another remap. winkeye Its just that after the manifold only gave me 10 bhp I thought if the cams only give me another 10 bhp is it really worth it? :? Hartge only managed to get 245bhp out of the 2.8 lump. Plus I have heard tha...

Re: Whats your BHP? Re-map?
I am thinking about s52 cams but the s52 i hear only made 240bhp. so is it worth putting cams in as i have 237bhp already. I done the m50 intake cos loads of people claimed it would give me 20bhp extra but it only gave 10bhp and i could not tell the difference. so my ponder is will i notice the diff...

Re: Whats your BHP? Re-map?
Its a steel liner. with a powerchips remap. but its the fritz exhaust which was the best mod. extra 30bhp from stock and its a thing of beauty. however it does sound like it should be on a track and your neighbours will hate you. I love it though and making it sing will be my ruin im sure. Those pes...

Re: Whats your BHP? Re-map?
My m52b28 with fritz exhaust made 227bhp and with the m50 intake and a remap it only went to 237bhp. Didnt really notice much difference except the power came in a little bit later. Im also wondering if it is worth fitting cams and getting another remap for another 10 to 15 bhp. I want more power bu...

If the belt replacement don't fix problem I would change the PS fluid. I had similar problem but my belt was tight although not new it was in ok shape. The pump also used to make a nasty noise when under load. I changed the fluid (which ent too difficult) and it was fine for 5 years until it was cha...

Thanks for the interior. It was a pleasure to do business with Foz. Nice guy and a genuine e30 enthusiast. It was nice to meet you.
I would not hesitate to deal with Foz again.
Good luck with your m52 conversion. Get that garage cleaned out before you start.
