I only picked the car up on the way to silverstone so hadn't experienced a boosted m30 untill my first hour practice session, its mental! Here's a video of the car at bailey performance dale fitted and mapped the megasquirt for me he's done an amazing job on both counts http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Hi, ive got a e36 318is engine ive been looking for a 318i e30 to drop the engine in to, i understand that i need to swap the engine mounts and sump so it will fit. well ive just come across a 316i e30 is the swap still as straight forward , ie do they have the same sump and mounts as the 318i? also...

Ive come accross some genuine tweeter pods (replace mirror blanking plate) the tweeters are made by nokia.

Well Ive got a supersprint centre section and at the moment straight pipes out the back, so don't
think its the exhaust!!
But I will try and check the baffles.
So the clearences should be fine,good.
Ive just changed the sensor, I'll take it for a spin in a bit, fingers crossed

This is only slight power loss 10-15 bhp on my butt dyno, Its not there all the time it only happens when its hot, I don't mean red hot just anything over 1/4 temp Its definetly not a missfire, it sort of changes the sound of the revs and drops loads of power off It feels like its restricted by the ...

Ive got it running :D well sort of! just connected the starter wiring, Ignition and fuel pump (I fed the fuel pump from the Ignition) First fire up it literally burst into flames!!!!!! 8O 8O I Forgot to connect the earthstrap I also didnt tighten the jubilee on the fuel hose, so it earthed out from ...
