fitting the locking actuator motors, how?

i know where they go, but does the white plastic ring attached to the actuator motor just clip over the metal prong, or is there something else missing?

Give the whole thing a good clean, free it up, grease and refit.
i already have it out, and couldnt free it :?

Door lock seized

the door lock is seized in the horizontal deadlock position, i have removed it, but was wondering if theres a way of sorting it, tried brute force and wd40?

would it be just as easy to look for a 2nd hand one with key?

RE: central locking, im pretty sure its because there no c/l solenoids in the doors, where are they ment to be fitted?

right got the lock out, and they cant be swaped over as the they only fit one way up. Is there anyway of getting the drivers one to unlock with the key? Back to the central locking, if i pres the solenoid on the drivers door it locks the boot and the filler cap, but not the doors, it also dosent see...

Right, am tring to sort the central locking out, now i thought i knew what to do after it went on my first touring, but this is a bit more involved. When i went to investigate the central locking module behind the speaker i found out it was missing, so got a working one, but still nothing, so i by p...

pete, flip the fuse box open and pull out the big double length black relay, try swapping it with the one out of your car, thats all it is

cheers, not had a great deal of time to do much more on it.

have added a nice plain retro sony cd unit, and i'm gonna get the boot painted as theres the usual rust under the window :)
