Hello all, I have now completed my 2.7 build and in the process running the engine in, i am running the standard Motronic 1.3 management system do i really need a 2.7 chip? Ok i have walked into maplin and they have 'ATC lithium battery CR2 3v' these are the non-rechargeable type also they have a exp date of 11-2018? At £8.79 each....
Are these the right ones?
As i have seen cheaper ones liks duracell and varta....

Ok stripped the is board out and i can see x2 Sanyo Laser Lithium batteries....
So are these the re-chargeable type?
Any specific batteries recommended to replace the ones i have?

Its shocking once you start.....depending the level of finish you want and how perfect you want it....can cost you a fortune..... i have spent already £13k and calculating another few grand before its fully finished.

Can someone guide me on which gear oil to use?
I have a Getrag 245 ZF (dogleg) gearbox.
There are afew choices;
* Redline 75W90 GL-5 (high performance)
* Redline MTL 75W80 (leight weight)
* Pentoson SAE 75W80
or is there some thing else?

Im going to change my rear anti roll bar but the new one has holes to bolt the link bars like the front ones, so cannot put the original ones.
