How to undo prop with diff already removed?
anyone know how to undo the prop to gearbox bolts when the diff has already been removed?
I really should have undone these bolts before I sold the diff
I tried locking the engine using a spanner on the viscous coupling, but it doesn't lock it
Any help would be great!

Worst case, this can't end up costing more than £500 to get sorted you would think? £250 for a good engine and £250 for fitting? I've had good experiences with Boyd, bought an IS engine from him for £250. You should sign up to retrobmw.co.uk. Full of Scottish owners around the central belt and would...

Re:
How much were your poly engine mounts and where from? Would the e34 mounts raise the engine as much as 8mm?
Yeah I've read you only need a couple of mm clearance too
I would get a DanThe linkage, but I can get the spacers made up at my work for free

The Z3 rack is better as the splines match on both ends, so I don't have to make a hybrid like I did for the E36 rack kit I sold Mike. I'll still have to make a 22mm spacer like I did before to create the extra length needed. Are you fitting the rack to an M42? If so, get some solid M50 e34 mounts f...

Thanks for the reply Brian! Cheers My fans don't seems to have any side to side play in them? I have turned the fans so they spin vertically now, so the WD40 can drip into the bearings, doing one side, then turning them round the other way to do the other side I think there's a tiny gap less than 1m...

Where on the motor should I be spraying the WD40? Then filling up with 3in1 oil? Is it ok to run the setup I have, spraying the WD40 while the fans are spinning? Could it go on fire or anything? http://i52.tinypic.com/24xho3k.jpg Do I spray the WD40 where I have circled red in the pic below? http://...

Re: Best way to remove lollipop bushes
Cheers for the answer Brian, the bushes are for me. I never realised they would be a PITA to remove.
I'd buy the arms too, but i'd rather get new arms than re-used arms. I don't mind re-using the M3 bushes as these are genuine BMW items and not that old

it doesn't sound like you can afford to run a car
e30's must be one of the cheapest cars to run out there, taking into account total cost of ownership
