E30 Zone

I'll hopefully be going but, as I won't be in an E30 (and a "diseasel" to boot,) I'll be parking elsewhere,
Still looking forward to seeing eceryone,

Having just bought another motor, (& it runs on the devils brew !!) I've realised I have to let one of the E30's go,

As I love the practicality of the Touring it looks like I'll be selling the Cab as an unfinished project,

Watch this space !!

Anyone come across / used "THe Green Insurance Company" ??
They offer a very good rate on both Quidco & the usual comparitor sites but I've not heard of them,
(Mind you I haven't heard of some of the others either !!)

Do Heritage do breakdown cover ??

I never want to "tempt fate" but have always believed in being prepared for the worst, I've just had my renewal from Direct Line, even with 4 years "No Call Out Discount" it's £335 (that's "Personal Cover" for me & SWMBO,) I'm just starting to look around but all seem to decline cars over 10 or 15 y...

Considering that's a gun finish done in an ordinary garage I think that's a nice job,

It was "operator thrombosis" - there was a clot trying to fit it !!
(Hadn't read the installalation manual properly,)

I would recommend a geniune pump only, I purchased my car (325 Touring) with a fubbered pump and fitted an aftermarket pump, It ran ok (at first) but was ridiculously noisy to the point you could hear it over the stereo, but eventual running problems (within 3 months) meant I fitted a geniune s/hand...

My wiring work has taken a little longer than anticipated,

Thanks for that, I will probably pop around at some stage,

Just spent the best part of this afternoon removing the dash for replacement, what fun !!
Shall we just say that, in the end, as it was already fubbered it will never be able to be used again !
Fitting the replacement starts tomorrow after a little wiring work,

And I thought mine was one of the only ones on the road !!
Gutted !!
(Just makes me wonder, if he's coming out with rubbish like that, what else is rubbish about the car ??)

I tried dyeing the shelf in my E34, looked poor afterwards (but that could have been poor quality dye,) The took the original cover off & recovered it with "accoustic carpet", looked absolutely superb IMO (& most other people who saw it,) Just a second option for consideration if the dyeing doesn't ...
