Re: Dim dash warning lights show whilst driving?

Cheers guys, that seems to have solved it.

Cleaned up the blackened contacts and some other corroaded electrics, reassembled and now runs with no dim warning lights, even with all lights/wipers/radio on.

Will get a new one on order

Dim dash warning lights show whilst driving?

Windscreen-wiper and electric windows running slow too.

Also dash lights flicker when reving engine

Does this indicate a failing alternator or something else?

Any help appreciated

Re: None sparking 1989 316i

Tried cranking with the CPS unpluged and can't hear the fuel pump so maybe not CPS issue.

Rev counter doesn't move on cranking with or without the CPS.

Its to trap overspills.

Such as when you fill up and go hard around bends winkeye

Take the arch liner out, see whats happening.

Looks like this:

Re: fuel leak from rear arch area?

The fuel expansion tank sits up in the rear o/s arch, maybe that's full/overflowing. Or a leak in the filler pipe.

Re: Locking center caps?

I've put a half inch circular rubber strip cut from an old mountain bike inner tube around the 3 bayonet fittings.

Not totally secure, just makes a tighter fit and a bit more difficult to remove by hand.

Driver's electric window won't close

Winds down, but not back up.

Any ideas before it starts raining.

Can you crank it back up manualy using the hex key in the toolbox - or is that just for the sunroof?

Thanks in advance
