E30 Zone

Did any one see that e36 on its roof at the roundabout after ultimate bmw? it looked so bad. Does anyone know if the driver was ok?

whats the most power u can safely get out of a 318is without forced induction? iv seen 157bhp out of my friends with an exhaust filter bored out tb chip and remap. is that around the max? cheers.

Are all 318i tourings the m42 engine? if not how can u tell, because most of the people over the phone that are selling them dont have a clue?

Na iv sold it now. it was leaking oil, the head had gone, the steering rack was loose. It was basicly a bit of a dog realy.

My 325i sport has sadley gone due the header tank having more oil in it than water! Iv decided to buy a 318is instead of another sport as good ones are a bit out of my price range. Are 318is's good? Are they much slower than sport's? Any help much apreciated.

i have an e30 325i touring and i was wondering if the mtec 2 rear bumper off my 325i sport saloon would fit. if not where can i get one? iv already changed over the front bumper no problem. thanks. yes it will fit ,the front and rear and side skirts fit but of course different door pods thanks alot...

its got rot on the rear arches and thats it. the previous owner put the standard suspension back on the front so he could fit that stupid bumper.

its a 325i sport. as im a painter by trade im giving it a full respray in the same colour. im geting the original bumper and lowering the front. im hoping to have one of the cleanest sports around. ill post more pics when its done cheers. michael[img]. alrite e30 man i live in hayes middle sex and iv got a superchip on my 325i. i got it done at superchips just down the a40 .

My 325i sport has 159000 on the clock and runs like a dream. its the best car iv ever owned. my mk3 golf had 64 on the clock and it just didnt compare to the bm even with the milage. my m8s is on 200 k and runs just as good as mine.

in my sport the gear knob and gaitor are joined together and mine is loose from over the years and just pulls straight off. what is a good replacement? iv seen z3 ones on e30s? cheers

Completly agree with you there fella, in the past i've ended up stripping the complete engine down and flushing all parts to rid them of the tasty mayo deposits. Does she over heat now or just blow pipes when running at normal temp? iv left the rad flush in there and it dosent even go near the half...

The cone filters normally sit just above the alternator, the alternator has fins attached to it to dissapate heat away, K&N's suck in this ovely hot air and general engine heat thus making acceleration and performance poor, never mind fuel economy! Have you also used the bleed nipple/bolt on top of the thermostate housing when bleeding the system? yeah i did that too. the head went befor i got it and the fella didnt clean out the gunk from the system too well so no water was getting to the heater matrix which must have made the hoses split an...

iv got a kn cone filter on my 325i sport as well as a superchips super chip and a straight through sebring exhaust and the cars rapid. will changing the cone filter make it quicker or slower? whats the best filter? cheers
