I've got a carsoft diag kit that seems to work very well on my 328i. if you get really stuck come up and plug it in if you're not too far away - M1 J30 area.

E34/E32 --> E30 steering wheel fitment

I have an M-tech 1 steering wheel for sale on the forum. It came from an E34, and I've tried it on an E32 which it seemed to fit fine. I thought it was identical to the wheel I had on my E28 m535i, but someone has suggested that the E28 is a different fitment, and I'm now concerned that I'm going to...

I enjoyed today a lot, good to put some faces to names :D some great cars too, Oakey's tech 1 sounded ace and put down some serious torque; Daimlerman's car meanwhile didn't have so much of a torque curve as a torque 'line', very impressive 8O nice to see a few E28s putting down good figures too. Re: Do people re-engine E28s and E12s

people put M60 V8s and M70 V12s in sometimes, i'd imagine the extra torque makes for a nice car.

as far as i know it's usually a good bit easier than putting big engines in E30s, because the 5 is closer in design to the 7 which naturally got the largest engines when new
