Yes thats the one and for some reason always thought that was dolphin grey !! That did interest me but its to soon with having to sell the 172 etc as looks pretty much how id want it and could spend som time sorting the problems out etc !! Cheers guys for the help

Cheers guys there is a grey 325 touring on ebay thats about to finish with the mtech kit on etc but was thinking of either black or the dark blue pref 325/manual on a late reg G/H ? with the kit or get and add the kit etc and some sensible upgrades

MTech 325 colours ??

Not been on here in a while been tracking a Clio 172 and playing with a few RS's etc but think its time for the 172 to go and I fancy a Mtech Touring but was wondering what colours they came in as ive mostly seen Dolphin Grey ones !!

Basically mate braided hoses dont swell up like rubber ones when you press the brake hence pedal feeling firmer and having more brake feel.
Also Stainless hose fittings wont rust buth the Zinc ones will start to rust after a few years due to road salt etc,

But surely doing a bodge together of various parts from a scrapheap isn't so much going down that road as understeering past the junction and through a hedge? Why **** about modifying the hubs when you can bolt on a properly tested good quality kit for not much more money? Besides, there are plenty...

Every article one reads about improving brakes recommends starting with braided metal brake hoses and good brake fluid. The easiest upgrade are better discs like, for example, ATE slotted power discs and some Mintex C-Tech pads - both available from Eurocarparts. Braided hoses and race brake fluid ...

Why does it being your everyday car mandate that you do an unnecessarily complicated brake conversion? Why bother modifying the hub if there are other better options that don't require modifications? It will become a track car eventually mate and I already have a set of Brembo's and 356 discs ready...

Was goin to try and get a setup of another car mate eg VW or vauxhall discs and bmw calipers as its goin to be my everyday car etc cheers anyway

Brake upgades ???

What brage upgrades can anybody recomend ?

Ive heard about one using Corrado G60 discs and RX7 calipers, where the hub needs to be modded to except the disc and the hub lugs or caliper lugs have to be modded ?
has anybody done this oe is there any other mix and match set ups ?

Hi Eko, Ive allways liked E30's especially tourings so it was a toss up between the E30 or a MK2 Golf 16V 5dr for my everyday car as my van has to go as ive been self employed for a bit but decided to go back employed for a bit with having a new girlfriend etc but wanted something for the odd track ...

Hi all im Kev and live in Widnes near Liverpool, I currentley dont own a E30 but im on the look out for a late model E30 touring as a everday car etc, I currently own a rare special build Transit and also a 3dr Sierra Cosworth thats slowly under restoration and im also a mechanic by trade :)
