Everytime I come on here, I want an E30 !! now I want an E30 and a tidy bird

You can pick up a G or H plate 7 series for about a grand i'd immagine, that's cheap considering imo!

It's just an idea for a future project, got a project on the go atm that will keep me busy for a few months yet!

Anyone ever done it here? I know it has been done! but looking to find out how easy/hard it is to do and some info on what bits to use.

Suerly you can pick up a cheap V12 and a cheap E30 with no engine/box etc.

cheers guys, It is indeed a pressure relief valve.

the guy that gave me the engine and parts forgot to give me the valve so just waiting on it.

Was a strange one as the oil pump already has a pressure relief valve and pickup!

I'm currently putting together a BMW M20 525i engine from an E34 5 (sorry) I've got a problem. Next to the oil pump, underneath in the block casting, there is a threaded hole. it goes directly into the oil gallery. I never took the engine apart and i'm assuming their should be something screwed into...

Fuzzy, i've spied a nice one for 2K looks good in the pics, was really looking for a 25i sport but only really got 2500-3K max to spend so doubt i'll get a decent sport for that!
