http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=562_563_564 These fellas, really helpful. They sent me the wrong bracket the first time, but soon got the correct item out overnight. I think it's a guy called Mark? who designs the brake conversions using willwood components, they are very well ...

Will they fit under the 15Ԛâ€a wheels??? and how much?? After a few track days on standard calipers, ate power discs and pagid fast road pads, i opted for a big brake upgrade. The previous set up was adequate, but i felt it needed improvement. I fitted the Wilwood Midilite kit and it made a h...

Just buy my car Sal, it's all sorted!! To be honest, it takes a while to get to know the circuit, i don't know which one you were doing but the GP is the biggest and fastest. I find that in the dry mine will tend to understeer...........there is not enough feel and steering precision in an old E30, ...

Just wanted to post my thoughts. It does depend on whether you are using polish or wax to some degree. If the paintwork is hot polish will dry as soon as it hits the surface and won't spread evenly and the thicker parts you end up with are more difficult to buff away. When using a wax, as already sa...

I can tell you what i have found on my 325 Sport on track, but as anyone will tell you, any road car setup is a compromise on track and a full track setup on the road is just dangerous!! :clin: I tried the H&R cup kit with old standard ARBs on track and then again after fitting the H&R ARBs with new...

I have been looking into Leda suspension myself.
Try Leda themselves for the servicing: http://www.leda.com/index.htm
Unless anyone has a better suggestion

Yeah, i think that is the way to go. Let someone else foot the bill, a bit like the bargain someone will get when i sell mine  Leda coilovers would be the way i would go, hand built in the UK and i have read they are as little as Ԛ£50 to rebuild!! All i need to do now is decide what to get...

I agree with some of what you say. It has been great for learning, it's tough and reliable and wouldn't have been the end of the world if i had stuffed it into a wall. These were all reasons why i chose to use it in the first place. I do now feel that it is holding me back from honing my driving ski...

As Karl says, take it at your own pace. When i first started at Silverstone i had professional tuition. This not only helped learn the circuit and correct line, but it also gives you confidence to push the car a little harder in places where your road driving judgement will probably tell you otherwi...

Hi Sal, Thought i better tell you what i have found running my E30 at Silverstone over the last few months. I always do the GP circuit and do approx 4 hours on track. Any 'road' tyre will take a hammering on a circuit, the tread (especially a new tyre) will heat up and be a little squirmy, it will e...

Ceeman, what car are you taking? I might be able to get to that one, its quite close to me. Who's organising it and whats the noise limit? Might even bring the DTM out to play :D I use a 1990 325 Sport, it's a had a few mods to make it more fun on the circuit, it could just do with a bit more power...

When you fit wheel spacers, how do you centre the rim?
I have just had a Wilwood disc/caliper conversion fitted and it does not fit behind the BBS without a spacer.
The problem i have found is that a spacer stops the wheel self-centering on the hub, i have done it by eye but is there a better solution?
Any suggestions welcome.

Studs for the 15" BBS
I have just bought a set of studs from GSF and they look slightly different from the studs currently fitted. The new ones are tapered with approx 25mm of thread, most of the thread seems to be protruding from the face behind the rim.
Anyone know if this is correct or should they be longer?
