Hi all,
Need to move my car from its storage this week, but putting it back together and one driveshaft is knackered.
Needs to be from a disc brake car.
Does anyone have one? Able to travel to anywhere between Wakefield and Chesterfield!
Thanks,
Pete.

Re: Sweep (Pete simon) funeral
This is really sad. Been buying stuff from Pete since 2008. Knew he’d been unwell a few years ago, but wasn’t aware of this.
RIP Pete

Mobile welders to do jacking points
Hi,
I'm after someone to sort my jacking points. Not after the OE style with the square bit, just for a tidy job and for it to be sound. The car is living on a ramp in a unit, but I'm no welder.
Anyone got any recommendations? Car is in Sheffield

I paid about £1100ish on my 316 auto when I was 18 I think. Didn't Change when i swapped it to manual. Coilovers and wheels declared, nor did it go down much over the years.

Rear arch query
Alright chaps and ladies My E30 has now come out of it's 4 year hibernation and is going to be put right finally. It needs new rear arches so will be ordering the repair panels. However, I've always had rubbing issues with tyres and running wider wheels. I wont run daft stretched tyres. Its a faceli...

What do you think? Would look better in a subtle colour The outside I could live with, the interior, only if I was blind ! Who orders serious cars with grey interiors ? :? Grey interiors are for people who buy out of catalogues and paint every room in their house magnolia. Outside looks nice.

Anyone want my completely standard manual 328 touring?
Hi Chaps, This might be useful as a donor motor for an E30 or just as another runaround. I bought this just over a year ago to run around in and then pop the engine into my E30. But the E30 is now so far from even being able to roll and I have a different daily, which means this is redundant. Comes ...

Re: Is the E36 cool yet?
There was a green E36 328 Touring on Azevs going lately for top money (had pretty much everything replaced on it though) but at £3.5k you're into decent enough E46 Touring territory!! That started at £5k! Its now £3.5 without the Azevs i think. Yup, but you could purchase the Azevs for extra £, sti...

My e36 manual Sport Touring is a pleasure to drive and has been ultra reliable over nearly 3 years of daily use. I don't think they are cool yet but I just like the looks and the fact that I don't see them on every street corner! http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/537/IHoeXH.jpg Very nice....

Car seems to be OK now. I re-checked the fuse and it was fine, but I changed it anyway and it started straight away. So turns out it was a dodgy fuse (which looks fine)...
Yeah, so, I'm an idiot. Thanks for the tips though chaps.

Re: '97 328 won't start
Check the cam and crank position sensors you may need to get the codes read. Also it may be a stupid idea but does the touring suffer the same fate as the coupes with the loom chaffing in the boot lid? I've a feeling so, a design fault they say. Probably explains why my rear wiper doesn't work and ...

This is the first effort. Just welded, smoothed down with a sanding disc and then sprayed with zinc primer as advised. Not perfect but not bad I don't think. http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/PeteMCFC/8B3AAE27-1090-41AC-B006-25CE7B37B64A.jpg http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/PeteMCFC/0B6...

It's bits like this which worry me, all the aligning and making sure it looks unmolested when painted.jimmyspeed wrote:good work you've cut it all out!!! remember to keep in mind that the wings have to sit flat to the fixings and fairly tight to the curved section
