finally got me new 2.5 in but to my horror it was a buggered engine so after another day of fun got the new enine in that i test drove before they took it out :D set up consists of 2.5i standard 2.5 box wit the 2.3 diff only thing is now is i cant put any power on the floor :cool: which is fun but w...

so the 2.5 is in and running lol got a few probs now tho no mpg meter any more,heaters only hot on tick over lol an a big exhaust blow, oh and its quite hesitent off the mark has kinda a misfire before it revs up?? think a trip down to ants is in need for the wiring issues winkeye had to run a new w...

lol got engine bolted in mark but still have no pin out data for the c101 plug
now bout to sort exhaust and oil cooler!!!!

hey there got the engine in and bolted up last night but am in need of some pin out data for the c101 plug to my early 323 loom???
has any one got it i know ants got it but cant get hold of him at the mo and really wanna get it finished now

finally fixed it timing had to time it tooth on the dizzy and it wont run on factory marks the dizzy had to be bout quarter of a turn out lol but she runs so im a happy man again

hey done what daimler man said but still no joy is there anything else that would stop her starting

ok good thnx for the info think i gunna hav to get some help as ive had the arm pointing at about 9 oclock on the dizzy and the bottom pully at tdc an yet she still wont fire?? i then put the old dizzy back on to see if it would make any difference but it sill wont bloody start? bloody thing is piss...

u say the govener but mine has not got a govener arm its jus a standard one which way does the arm point? can the jack sharf pully move even with the cambelt on ?

hey i jus tried changing the dizzy on my 1983 323 but i cant seem to get the timing right to get her to start now! has any one got diagrams of where the timming marks are for the dizzy and where the bottom pulley needs to be ????

jus done rear beam bushes and now when i get over 60 mph the rear end seems to judder like a biatch lol
im pretty sure the wheels and tires are ok!
is there anything else that could cause this ???

cool cheers m8 when the beems properly off ill give it some oxy set lol but as the cars bee set on fire wne i got a plate welded in the inner rear arch im abit dubious about fire lmao

i tried again today an they are stuck fast so i have managed to get another subframe with no bushes in for 50 quid so gunna go for that!

also maybe a bad earth some where ? or faulty ignition switch but more likly earth or alternator or starter

well i had similer probs on my old 320i n it turned out to be a drain from the starter motor! was very random too some days it would be fine others it would be a lil bitch! how did this all come about any simptoms b4 ?

hey jus wondering what i have to take off to do em???
there both totally seazed in the rear beam + the middles are deazed on the bolt it it jus a case of brute force heat an alot of sweat lol!
there really staren to peee me offf now lol!!

so booked it in wit a local body shop to have new floor sills (inner and outer) and what ever else is needed!
