318IS Flywheel
The clutch on my IS needs changing as it is starting to slip a little.
Is it worth changing to a lightweight flywheel as i have heard about. What parts would I need is it just the clutch, flywheel and starter motor form a 325i? Can anyone whos done this tell me if its worth doing.
Thanks

IS Heater plate pipes
I have removed the TB heater plates, but can not connect the pipe from the head to the lower water return pipe as they are not the same size. How is this best done? I also hear you can just blank both off as they are for the heater plates only, not head cooling. As BMW did in the Tropical models (So...

Re: best Chip for a 318is?
I am planning all the above mods to my IS, removing heater plates and my chip is on the way. But can someone explain how to advance the inlet cam a small amount and is it some thing which can be done at home or is it a garage only job?
Thanks

Can I remove the pipe that runs from the top of the valve/cam cover to the bottom of the throttle body. Fit a crank case breather filter to the valve cover, Blank it off at the throttle body? Or would this effect any thing?
Any one done this before to a 318IS
Thanks guys
