Re: 1986 BMW 320i Auto - N. Ireland
Zero interest in this in nearly 2 months.
Appreciate its an Auto and I am in N.Ireland, but I thought I had priced this competitively based on others for sale for a solid 2-door.
Maybe a bit of a slump in market? Or is it too dear?

Thanks Steve, Yeah carpets were wet and rear light seals were totally shot.
I put new seals in last week, so hopefully that sorts it.

Rust or Drain Hole?
Morning,
Just wanted to check something - I see below hole in passenger side of boot when I removed the jack.
As it looks quite round, I was wondering if there should be a drain hole here (car is 1986 2-door), or if I need to get welder out?
Many thanks,
Michael

Re: Crank but won't start
Evening, Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would bump this as I found it useful for initial troubleshooting. Car is a 1986 320i Auto. It has been off the road since 2010 and I am slowly recommissioning it. After Timing Belt, Water pump, Service and other vacuum line replacements the car ha...

Pipe from Servo to Intake Manifold
Hi,
Can any one confirm the Part No. for the pipe outlined in below pic?
Car is a 1986 320i (Auto).
The pipe is torn and I want to order a replacement, but can't identify it on the REAL OEM Diagrams.
Thanks

M20 Thermostat Housing
Hi,
I am after a Thermostat housing for an M20 (lower hose connector corroded and fell off!)
Car is a 1986 320i, but are they the same for all M20 engines?
After a good 2nd hand one, or can anyone point me to a new aftermarket supplier?
Thanks

Sump gasket
Hi,
I am in the middle of replacing my sump gasket and have bought a genuine BMW cork gasket.
I note some conflicting opinions online about using sealant as well as the new gasket to get a good seal.
Any thoughts on weather to go with just the gasket or gasket + sealer?
Thanks

Great skill. Inspiring stuff.
Its one of my life's ambitions to be able to fabricate & weld like that...
I would assume that with those skills, you see rust like that and just casually go about fixing it, whereas for me it would be game over and shell scrapped.
Look forward to updates.
