Re:
That's not dangerlously expensive. I spent $500 usd on new bumpers that was worse. I think the trim is a good thing to replace..most all e30's have dullness and some dings/dents in the aluminum trim as well. I know mine has a ding in it. I also have to polish it 24/7 to keep the dull-ness from showi...

BMW OEM Aluminum aka chrome window trims & door trims?
Is there a part # for these trims? I would absolutley love input from you guys about this because I would like to ADD new trim to my car while it undergoes it's restoration.. I checked ETK and didn't see it ? :? . I may have not looked in the right place. All I really need is the part #'s. Trim need...

Re: Just a few pictures
Looks good..Zender's front spoiler for post facelift cars looks just like it.
I say get a Mtech 1 rear decklid spoiler.
The Mtech 2 looks out of place on a vert...then again verts look best with no spoiler and no trunk 3rd brake light.

Re: NEW Carpet!?
If the floorplan is the same atleast I can get a carpet for my 4 door. Since OEM are NLA...then I (gasp...) may have to go with the grey carpet offering from the custom carpet dealer I mentioned in my initial post. $200 USD. hmm..

I don't understand why the carpet is for "2 door" cars only. Will this carpet fit in my 88' 325i 4 door saloon?? :? My car is Cirrus Blue metallic. Leather Interior is "SILBER" or Silver grey. If I was getting a new carpet as such..I'm not sure what sample from the site below best matches. Here's th...

I noticed today that my hella euro ellipsoid headlights are aimed differently. The passenger side is up a tad, while the driver's side is down..touching the lower socket of the grilles. I'll have to post a pic of my Panasonic Cd player. (2006)
I have one in my 325i & my brother has one in his E30 M3.
Very subtle and goes well in an E30.

Non-Operating Fuel gauge!
I'm having a major issue with my fuel guage not working. The odometer is still working..but the guel gauge has failed. I noticed when I smack the dashboard it starts to work and be accurate..but later it fails again. I hate not knowing how much fuel is in my car! What can I do to repair this issue??

Re: What do you think of these rims?
Lots of the US guys are running these..as they are dime a dozen here. Regardless they are very nice! I do love the look. I'd be in for a set but I'm not too thrilled about the price $545 USD and the 0 offset which "could" result in stretched tires. For $600 USD I can get a nice set of 17's, 5 spoke ...

I'll just go for it..not that other's opinions won't sway my decision (they may but I highly doubt it) I'm just worried about "warping" or any other storage issue that may occur for an item sitting in storage for 19-20 years.. We'll see were I'm at restoration-wise in terms of my budget. I feel as i...

Std. Speakers...Time to get new ones.
I have the "premium sound" stock upgraded speakers.
I want to replace all speakers..(does anyone know the sizes and diameters of the front speakers (near the kick panels) and the rear deck speakers... (I believe they are 4x6
?)
Also: What's a good brand to go with!?

Well to be honest the car is in the shop undergoing a strip-down restoration. The wheels are going to be customized..cirrus blue metallic centers to match the car's body color. Either way I have 205/60/14 and 195/60/14 tires. both sets are new too. So It should be easy to figure out....once I get my...

Nice looking! I always liked the Mtech 2 kit. That's for later...I'd want them custom painted like my 14's possibly if the 15's would be my "best" set of wheels. I have to worry about The car: paintwork and fit and finish stuff first to ensure the best restoration I can afford. Wheels are just a simple bolt on bolt off thing. They change like s...

Nothing to take pictures of yet..other than the parts. The car looks the same. E30 wheels: Center Bore issues
I'm looking into aftermarket wheels made by MKW
4x100 Centerbore is 73mm.
I know the E30 centerbore is 67mm...so what can be done to make these wheels fit?
