is there anyway to stop it?

My touring has LSD dunno if that ill help,but it whines all the time.doing my head in abit.

ok just had a quick look at the wipers.took plastic cover off below the windscreen to expose the motor,it looks like theres play in the spindle (the bar coming from the motor which connects to the wipers) When i turn the wiper stalk on the mortor just buzzes but doesnt actually move.....pretty sure ...

i think i can make out that mine has headlamp wipers,will they work while the windscreen wipers work and when i have the lights on or just when i was the windscreen and have my lights on like my old cav gsi...
